I've been into motorcycles, hot rods and such since the late 1960s. I took a bike down a drag strip for the first time in 1973. Since then I've had a lot of hot bikes, including a Pro-Stock drag bike in the early 1980s.

My current street bike is a stock Kawasaki ZX-14 and my drag bike is a 1400cc turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa.

I was starting on a junior fuel front engined dragster about a year ago and really became disillusioned with the direction (i.e. cubic dollars) that the sport has gone. With bikes it's not too bad. For cars it's become insane. I did some soul searching and decided that for what the dragster would cost me I could build an airplane and get a lot more seat time. So I hung the rail on the wall and started on a Van's RV-6a. It's going to take a while to build it but it should be fun and will give me time to learn to fly. :)

I've also got a 406" Chevy powered Pontiac Fiero. The engine is out of it because it ate the transmission. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it when I put it back together.

I almost killed myself on a motorcycle way back in the day (around 86' or 87') and have never been on one since .

Ride to Live - Live to Ride

Been riding motorcycles since 2007 when I bought my Sportster 1200 Custom Patriot Edition. Ride it to work - to the shore - and with mostly - with friends. A great way to see what life is all about ! ! !

Try landing a high-performance aircraft, in the Piper Arrow I have to get below 110mph to bring the gear down, then keep it right around 100 until the mains are down.

LOL. We would never descriminate for type of motorcycle, but you're right, I've never seen anything but cruisers!

My fellow Brother Mason and I ride here in Arizona and, would like to start a Widows Sons chapter for our area. There is a chapter in the Tucson area but not here in Phoenix. I ride a hardtail springer chopper.
