I too used to love watching the history channel. I don't watch it at all anymore. Its sad... I always figured that the History Channel and other Educational channels would be TV's saving grace from mindless programming of "reality tv"... but there they are, right in the middle of that whole mess.

Why don't they just start showing Survivor reruns and call it a day?

one bad joke, ah ah ah!!!

but seriously. In light of Mark Twain's brilliant proposition of "linguistic inflation", The old Bruce Springsteen song should now be 5700 channels and nothing on.

I LOVE Mythbusters!
They are dead to me. That special they did on "global warming" where their experiments were slanted and bogus explanations in place of facts or real proof made me lose all respect for them. If they followed the methodology they did on the show, that piece of "myth" would have never made it onto the nature channel. They sold out for politics.

Deadliest catch=== BEST SHOW on the channel. Whenever someone gripes to me about how hard they work, I can honestly say "You are not even close".

I remember when the Discovery Channel, and then the Learning Channel first came out, probably 20 or 25 years ago. I loved those channels and would watch nearly anything on them. Now there's a channel for everything, and the amount of material is mind numbing but because there are so many channels, everything is still repeated 100 times. Speaking of too many channels, today's my day off and I have the MLB network on in the background while I'm doing some web surfing. I think the last hour has been strictly about Albert Pujols contract negotiations. Talk about mind numbing....

Bad news boys... i was flipping through the tv and found "secrets of the dollar bill" on the history channel. They've decoded our symbols on the back of the bill and soon will thwart our plot for world domination. oh well, looks like it's back to pancake breakfasts and highway cleanup

Only if they truly decode them, there is the code behind the code, behind the code, at is an allegory for the code.

but the answer is 42. Everyone knows that.
It is an allegory for 6X7. Which represents the 6 known planes of existence and the 7 known multidimensional sentient life forms. Now, the first three numbers in the square root of 42 are 6.48, which amazingly enough is the exact proportion of the foods needed to make the perfect Breakfast: 6 pieces of bacon, 4 eggs and 8 dollar pancakes.

Now if you add the numbers making up the square root you get 18, which is the age at which earth girls can become pole dancers, and that is the only reason the other multidimensional beings even come here. Ya gotta love the method here.:D
