C News - A generous donation of over $17,000 from four St Lawrence District l Masonic Lodges and one stand-alone activity - a Transportation Group - will go a long way in supporting hospice palliative care for residents of Lanark County.

The St. Lawrence District under last years' District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) Right Worshipful Brother Cameron Minor decided that their charity initiative would be Palliative Care and specifically the three Hospice initiatives within the District (Brockville & District, Beth Donovan Hospice, and Dignity House Hospice). The Masons' Palliative Care Initiative will bring Dignity House Hospice one step closer to realizing their mission to establish a Residential Hospice for residents of Lanark County.

Key Masons from the region and Dignity House Hospice Board members attended a formal ceremony Monday, Sept. 26 inside McMartin House.
