Naomi Chapter #16 Order of the Eastern Star met on Monday, with dinner being served prior to a visiting address offered by Heather Stonebarger, who holds the title of Miss Nevada Job's Daughter for 2007-08.
Heather, who is from Henderson, NV, has been traveling the state raising awareness of Job's Daughters, an international organization representing five countries, and sporting three groups in the state of Nevada.
Job's Daughters is based on the Book of Job in its teaching members not to succumb to temptation during the normal trials of life. The program requires only a belief in a Supreme Being and is designed to teach members leadership and life skills they can carry with them throughout life.
