The six participating Chapters of District 5, Section 3, Grand Chapter of Texas, Order of the Eastern Star, will host “Daisy Daze” Eastern Star School of Instruction at the Old Blanco County Courthouse on October 13. There will be approximately 100 Eastern Star members from across the state in the city of Blanco for this two day event.
Other activities include “Galloping through the Hill Country” banquet to be held on October 12 at the Blanco Masonic Lodge. The Mayor, Honorable Chuck Homan will give a proclamation from the city to welcome honorees Worthy Grand Matron Vi Griffin of Winnie, TX, and Worthy Grand Patron David Dibrell of Dallas, TX, leaders of the Grand Chapter of Texas, Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Dibrell is also a Past Grand Master of the Texas Masonic Grand Lodge.
