Hello, everyone. I'm very glad that I have found this community, which will give me the opportunity to virtually "converse with well informed bretheren". I am 27 years old, and I am a student at Methodist Theological School in Ohio and an intern at a Methodist church in Columbus. I hope to begin working full time starting this summer.
I have always been interested in ritual and the estoric or magical side of the Abrahamic faith tradition, so when I met a Freemason who I liked and admired a great deal, and realized that I had to ask before I could become a mason, asking to be initiated was an easy decision to make.
I don't believe that Freemasonry comes from the Knights Templar, but I wish that legend was true.
I am a Fellow Craft, and should be raised to Master on the 20th.
