OCALA – Earlier this year, the Marion Chapter of the Order of DeMolay voted to make raising money for the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory their newest civic service project. This move by the local chapter has resulted in a statewide cooperative alliance between the Florida Jurisduction of DeMolay International and the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Florida, noted a press release.
Young men across the state will be raising funds to support the laboratory’s work researching treatments and prevention of heart disease and stroke.
