FORT THOMAS - The Fort Thomas Masonic Lodge #808 has crowned Rev. Robert Ashley Beagle as its centennial Master.
As Master, Beagle will oversee the day-to-day functions of the lodge, which includes meeting with charity committees, overseeing fundraisers and representing the lodge in various activities.
The Masonic Lodge is a fraternity of men with the motto of "taking good men and making them better" in the aspects of family, church and community, said Bob Peelman, the lodge's senior warden.
Beagle, a Baptist pastor, joined the lodge five years ago after becoming interested in its teachings.
"(I'm) elated at the thought of being the 100th Master," Beagle said.
Beagle said while he's received many honors during his 20 years of ministry, the honor of being crowned master is the greatest of them all.
