The Masonic lodges and Eastern Star chapters of Pueblo County will present their annual junior achievement awards, which recognize the outstanding junior girl and boy from each high school in Pueblo City Schools and School District 70.
The program will take place at 7 p.m. today at the Masonic Temple, 126 Broadway Ave., with South Pueblo Lodge AF&AM hosting.
Bill Thiebaut, Pueblo County District Attorney, will speak on "Education: The Best Inoculation Against Crime!” Megan Petersen of South High School and Daniel Martinez of Central High School, both outstanding juniors last year, also will speak. Brian Bate, the worshipful master, will be master of ceremonies.
