Montana Grand Master Removed

In Montana today, at a Tribunal in Billings, four Past Grand Masters removed the sitting Grand Master, Tom Duffy.

Did not want to copy the whole article. But the GM was removed for unmasonic behavior and abuse of power basically.

I've seen this topic on alot of Forums but have yet to get the full story. I understand that the Grand Master removed the Grand Secretary and as a result of doing this was brought up on Masonic Charges and removed...but that doesn't sound like the whole story to me. I mean in Montana the Grand Master has the right to remove the Grand Secretary if he wants (at least that's what I have been told by brothers in that state) So how does that get you removed?

From what I have read so far, the GM had no cause to remove the GS. It is a sad situation. Personally, I would have been happier if the story had remained out of the public eye. A letter mailed to the membership could have sufficed or read in open Lodge. I am against airing our dirty laundry even if I understand the practice in this day and age.
