After reviewing my first post on this great site I decided to delete it in case some of the brothers in or around my lodge are on this site. It should not be public information. I will handle it at the next lodge meeting. Thanks for the replies.

No, that is not the norm, nor is it how it should be. Demanding a new Mason (or any Brother for that matter) to give a job to someone is highly inappropriate and not why our order exists. Sure, if a Brother was down on ho luck and you could help, that would be great. I hope your experience changes.

I would say stick with the passion in your Lodge. I haven't seen this and I hope never to. Best wishes for the furture and enjoy our site.
