Physicians Named Regional 'Top Docs'

(CINCINNATI) Three physicians at Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Cincinnati have been named by U.S. News as “Top Docs’ in their specialty areas. David Billmire, M.D., and W. John Kitzmiller, M.D., were recognized for their expertise in plastic surgery, and Chief of Staff Richard Kagan, M.D., was recognized for his surgical expertise. Dr. Kagan has been chief of staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Cincinnati since 2004 and served as president of the American Burn Association in 2007-2008. The hospital specializes in pediatric burn care and rehabilitation.
Dr. Billmire has practiced plastic surgery in the Cincinnati area since 1983 and has been on staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children since 1994, and specializes in craniofacial surgery. Dr. Kitzmiller specializes in cosmetic surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery and joined the hospital medical staff in 1991.
