Depends on what origins you believe. Many today depict him as a man. As far as the trespassing, as a cop friend told me, it is not illegal if you do not get caught.
I have never stood in Lodge with him, but if he's not a Mason, I'll be glad to sign his petition! He's not trespassing or invading, that would imply he enters unwanted. He knows how to see the internal and not the external qualifications of a man. He obviously believes in Friendship, Morality, and Brotherly Love; not to mention Relief and Truth. S&F
