William 'Bill' Brackett: 1926-2012
PALM COAST -- For more than 50 years, William "Bill" Brackett was a proud Mason and a Shriner.
When he wasn't helping the Shriners raise money for the hospital, he was working diligently to inform the public that Shriners Hospitals provide specialized care for children at no charge regardless of the child's race, religion or relationship to a Shriner.
The Brooklyn, N.Y. native died peacefully June 30 at Florida Hospital Flagler. He was 85.
