It will be a sea of miniature cars, clowns and felt hats this weekend as the Niagara Shrine Club welcomes members from across Ontario, Quebec and the United States.
More than 3,000 Shriners are expected to converge on Niagara for the fourth annual Rameses Shriners Spring Ceremonial.
One of the highlights of the three-day convention will be a traditional Shriners parade on Saturday.
"The parades are sort of our trademark," explained Dave Gillies, a member of the Niagara Shrine Club and director general of the event.
"It's one of our great forms of advertising."
The Niagara chapter, made up of about 160 members, will be riding its Maid of the Mist float in the parade.
More than 50 Shriner parade units are expected to take part in the hour-long parade that begins at 1 p.m. on Portage Rd. and wind its way down Fallsview Blvd. to Ferry St.
Also on Saturday will be a crafters marketplace at the Shriners Club on North St.
