Can the Plane Take off?

Here it is :

“Imagine a plane, with its engine at full throttle, is sitting on a massive conveyor belt, as wide and as long as a runway. The conveyor belt is designed to exactly match the speed of the wheels, moving in the opposite direction. Can the plane take off?

Interesting.... My answer would be no, unless of course it would be a military harrier jump jet with rotating wing engines. Otherwise the laws of physics and aerodynamics would hinder the plane from taking off. Needing the pressure differential over and under the wings. No forward progress eliminates that possibility. Of course I have been wrong many times before.
