Hey! I've been there! Used to go to Hattiesburg in the summertime to teach National Guardsmen (& women) from the 5th(?) Army Area, Foodservice Sanitation.
Amazing campus at USM: they used to rent out the campus in summer to all sorts of camps: National Guard, band camp, computer camp, cheer leader (!!!) camp. It was a long drive up from the airport in Mobile, but we would save the miles on our rental van to return to the airport...by way of N'Awlins!!
Good times!
Only got towed once...
