i hope and pray not in my lifetime...at least the one that is going to run.
on the other hand...there is one (CR) i would vote for...pity she didn't put her hat in the ring. she has class, dignity, and most of all - intelligence.
I think we're ready but Hillary Clinton is too divisive of a figure. A lot of people just seem to hate her (for what largely, in my experience, are irrational reasons but it's still so).
I don't think the country is readyt for a woman and especially THAT woman. I see history repeating itself: A black man will become president before a white women....just like voting.....
A nomination doesn't mean much, especially when it wasn't from a mainline political party. Heck, I nominate myself for President! You can be my VP, accer.
i figure that means you know the answer...you'd be surprised at just how many people actually think this is the first time a woman has seriously tried to run for president...
