I have smacked the "everyday" ring on a numerous things and dinked into it with tools. Its invincible. Not a scratch.

You know, rings are a great way to lose fingers in the fire service... Wear it on a chain instead. That way you can take it off when you get a fire without losing it. Burns on your neck from the chain aren't fun either.
I bent my wedding band, and man was the wifey ticked off....

I probably should get some type of necklace for it while at work.... And I know rings are a good way to lose a finger.....( removing ring after I type)
