Here in New Zealand the bare minimum is a Sport Coat and black trousers if not a lounge suit. The other month one of the newly initiated brothers arrived at lodge without a jacket which saw some seriously raised eye brows!

The lodge provides aprons for EAs and FCs and will have a couple MM aprons set aside but most MMs in NZ will have their own. Gloves are also required if the WM is wearing them or if Grand Lodge is in attendance on an official visit.

Most brothers (myself included) wear a coat and tie. On occasion, some members will show up more casually dressed. We don't really care...there is no official standard.

The master has worn a variety of hats/fedoras/etc. The new master has a cool top hat.
