Has anyone played any of the Fallout games , Fallout 2 or 3 is on sale at Wal-mart for $19 ? Are they FPS' ? How are the campaigns ? Is there a lot of room to explore ? I am a campaign player and not a multi , on-line , live player .
I have Fallout 3 and I think it is fantastic. There is no online play in Fallout. And they devoted all that extra time to make the campaign outstanding. If you have ever played Oblivion it is very similar. It is a FPS but the story line gives you a ton of freedom. You can follow the main story when you want to, you can do side quests, or you can just roam the game. The in game world is huge and you can explore it for hours. I have not played Fallout 2 but if it was Fallout 3 on sale for $19 than that is a great deal.

Great , I think I'll get it then . I am almost positive it is Fallout 3 , I like a game you can explore and roam around in after you have completed the campaigns . Thanks .

Nope. I gave up on MMorpgs after SWG (Star Wars Galaxies), can't see the expense. Those games were dumbed down for kids, and it lost the appeal for me.

Came across this via my usual avenue for all my Masonic news (Bro. Hodapp's blog) and thought it was a neat idea. Its a forum for, as the URL alludes to, Masonic gamers. Not sure if I will be too active but there is a thread where you can share your gamertag and i'm always down for a few new friends to play Black Ops with.

I play WoW...I play in spurts. I will play intensely for a few months then take some time off...This means I have been playing for years and still my main char isn't up to the top level.
Used to play Dark Ages of Camelot, but the user base there is declining. World of Warcraft did little for me. To me the MMO was DAoC, although there was a few good ones before that, they went down hill too.
I have Dragon Age Origins 2, which was pre-ordered, and is still sitting in my office unopened. I enjoyed the first one, never did the expansion for it though. I hear the second one is decent, but was very rushed and lacking the story of the first.
I play a few games on facebook once in while, or a quick game of spyder solitaire. That has been my "gaming" or pathetic attempt to game this year.

No 360, but I'm Tuono on PSN. Im not on a lot lately, but I have no doubt I'll get back into it. Battlefield 2 was my game of choice online. Assassins Creed is my favorite offline game series (i know, i know... i just ignore the blasphemous Templar references).

I actually just got home from the GT/NC St beezball game a few minutes ago. Tech won 9-2. GT only scored about 4 runs... NCSt walked the rest of them home.
