The rule in Massachusetts is that we can have alcohol in our buildings but we cannot have a permanent bar in the building. We can't attend a meeting impaired and can't drink during a meeting except at a table lodge with dispensation. When that dispensation is granted, a Grand Lodge member, often the Grand Master, will attend the table lodge.
